Allianz & COVID-19
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic, Allianz Travel Insurance has made accommodations that protect its clients, despite the fact that, prior to COVID-19, epidemics and pandemics were excluded industry-wide. In late 2020, Allianz formally decided to continue excuding epidemic as a whole - and yet to codify the accommodations specific to COVID-19 it has been making, vis-a-vis an Epidemic Coverage Endorsement in several plans, including the Journey Plan and Classic with Cancel Any Time plan. A few states have yet to approve the new plans, so check availability in your state.
